FINALLY! You’re graduating high school! There are no doubt some things you want to forget (like calculus, for instance), but this is also a time to capture memories that will last a lifetime. Let’s put together a Senior session thats right for YOU – whether mom is making you get senior pics done…or you have a major photo shoot planned for your big year – Lets MAKE IT HAPPEN!
There are a number of things you can look for in senior portrait photography that may determine which photographer or studio you choose:
quality of the images,
location options,
outfit changes,
product choices (prints, digital images, etc.),
all around experience,
cost, etc.
For those of you just starting the search, I want to explain what makes JLSclarity UNIQUE, and what types of clients enjoy my sessions. For starters, I dont tie you down to purchasing $$XXXX amount of prints along with your session – before you even see the images! YOU decide what you want to purchase after seeing the images and deciding what you like! I have a few packages to choose from, but many clients take advantage of the extensive A La Carte menu. You can “build your own package” and get a custom quote just for you!
Everyone should have amazing pictures to commemorate this important time of their life! I am here to make you feel comfortable in your own skin and capture this moment in a way that no one else can! For those who would like I also offer Professional make-up design artists for a minimal fee. Even if you never wear make-up – we’ll make sure you are glowing and look like yourself! Dont worry we always give you an opportunity to check it out and make sure you feel comfortable.

Do’s & Dont’s for your Senior Photo Session
Do:
Get creative! Bring hats, cool shoes, boots, jackets, jewelry, scarves—you name it!
Bring props that are meaningful to you. Are you involved in sports? Dance? Cheerleading? Music? We can work with your uniforms or sports equipment—tennis rackets, soccer balls, pompoms, well-loved dance shoes. We want to make your pictures an expression of who you are right now and these activities are part of your identity. Bring your guitar or violin or trumpet—musical instruments are beautifully made and photograph very nicely.
Don’t:
Cut your hair for 2-3 weeks before the shoot. Plan your session at least 2-3 weeks after a hair cut to give your hair a chance to grow into its new style.
